Any time I get customer service that is above and beyond the call of customer service, I will shout it out here on my blog. Right now I’m on the phone with Apple customer service. The reason is I made a mistake. I made an order on their website and did not check the shipping address carefully because of that my package was heading on its way to Buffalo, NY. Yet, I no longer live there. I contacted Apple and they tried re-routing the package but they were unable to do that. At that point I thought for sure I’d be hoping that my package would someone how get back to me, but Apple did something I was not expecting.
They sent me another package to the correct address. That to me is above the call of customer service. It was my fault not theirs, but they graciously sent out a 2nd package to my correct address. They even told me not to worry about the 1st package. For all that they did, Apple deserves a huge shout out.
Thanks Apple for the wonderful customer service! It’s just another reason why I love Apple.
